Ascendix + Agentforce: Early AI Agents for Commercial Real Estate

At Ascendix, we’ve been rolling up our sleeves and experimenting with Agentforce, Salesforce’s new agentic AI platform. As a longtime Salesforce Summit Partner and CRE tech specialists, we saw right away how powerful this could be for commercial real estate – a data-heavy industry where brokers sometimes spend too much time typing instead of closing deals.

We’re building these prototypes as custom AI agents designed around the specific needs of CRE professionals. Just think: talking to your CRM instead of typing, running property searches in natural speech, or having AI read your emails and suggest the next best step.

It’s early days for Agentforce, but we already have working use cases running in Salesforce. And we’re excited to share what we’ve been shaping behind the scenes.

With our experience in Agentforce implementation, we’ve seen first-hand how AI can transform brokers and realtors’ daily workload. We focus on practical features that fit naturally into existing processes, transforming your pain points into competitive advantages.

Get Started With Agentforce for CRE

Whether you want to automate processes or customize agent behaviors, we’ve got you covered.

Why CRE Needs Salesforce & Agentforce

Commercial real estate runs on data. Properties, leases, comps, deals, contacts. For a CRE professional, keeping it updated and usable often means endless manual entry, scattered spreadsheets, and incomplete records.

And that’s exactly where Agentforce comes in. Instead of fighting with data, brokers can simply talk to Salesforce, delegate admin to AI, and let the system surface the insights they need when they need them. Less typing. More deal-making.

CRE needs Salesforce and Agentforce because this technology gives teams the power to automate workflows, uncover insights instantly, and focus more on closing deals instead of chasing data.

What We’ve Been Prototyping

While these aren’t off-the-shelf solutions yet, we’ve already built working Agentforce AI prototypes that handle some of the most time-consuming tasks in CRE:

Enhanced Search Capabilities for CRE

Early in our experiments, we realized that Agentforce’s reasoning capabilities could solve one of CRE’s biggest pain points: search. Whether it’s deals, properties, or leases, brokers need quick answers without digging through data, so we focused our first prototypes there.

We built a search prototype that scans both standard and custom Salesforce objects on demand, whether by voice or text, interprets the request, analyzes the results, and presents them back in a ready-to-act format. Here’s how that plays out for CRE brokers:

01. AI Property Search

Finding the right property can now be as simple as asking a question.

Picture this: you just got off a call with a prospect looking for 20–50k sq ft of office space in Dallas. Instead of navigating filters, you simply say:
“Show me office properties in Dallas between 20,000 and 50,000 square feet.”

Agentforce instantly returns accurate results. No menus, no guesswork — just natural language search.

02. Deals Tracking

Brokers spend hours digging through past and active deals to prep for client conversations. We prototyped an agent that surfaces them instantly.

Ask:
“Show me all office deals closing this quarter.”
And you’ve got your pipeline at a glance.

03. Prospecting

CRE prospecting can be tedious and time-consuming. By combining Agentforce’s reasoning with market data, we created an agent that identifies and qualifies prospects in seconds.

Ask:
“Find tenants expanding in Midtown over 10,000 sq ft.”
Instead of spreadsheets and cold research, you get a targeted list of qualified leads.

04. Lease Tracking

Lease expirations are critical in CRE, yet many brokers still track them manually. Our prototype makes it simple:

Ask:
“Which retail leases are expiring in the next 6 months?”
And Agentforce pulls them up in seconds, keeping you ahead of renewals.

Smarter Records and Updates

Once we had search working, the next question we asked was whether Agentforce could actually take some of the pain out of record-keeping. Brokers don’t just need to find information quickly; they also spend a significant portion of their day updating deals, logging activity, and keeping client relationships current. We wanted to see if Agentforce could lower that barrier.

01. Creating New Deals

Our first trials focused on deal creation. We tested whether a broker could speak or type the details of a client call and have Agentforce translate that into a structured deal record. Even in the earliest versions, the agent could spin up a new Opportunity in Salesforce and attach it to the right property records. That kind of automation suggested a broker could move directly from conversation to pipeline without stopping to key in the details.

As we iterated, the prototype became more precise. The current version doesn’t just capture the basics like company name, deal size, location but also picks up on details like property preferences mentioned during the call. Voice input proved especially effective here; it’s faster than typing, and brokers naturally provide more context when they talk than when they enter data into fields.

In commercial real estate, speed is everything. Ascendix’s deep experience with Agentforce means we can help you turn a single client conversation into a fully linked deal in seconds. Brokers who adopt this automation close more transactions, spend less time on admin, and stay ahead of competitors.

02. Updating Records
Deal creation was only the beginning. We also wanted to see if brokers could skip the clicks when it came to updates. Now, instead of navigating tabs and fields, a broker can simply say,

“Log that the Elm Street retail property’s asking rent was reduced to $45 per sq ft,”

and the agent makes the change, confirms it, and moves on. It’s a small shift, but it removes the kind of repetitive admin that slows down a dealmaker’s day.

03. Managing Relationships
The same principle applies to relationships. Simple voice or text commands like, “Create a new contact for John Smith at Acme Corp,” or “Schedule a follow-up call with Sarah Wilson next week,” flow directly into Salesforce. That means the broker doesn’t lose momentum after a meeting or call – the relationship record grows naturally as they work.

Communication and Task Automation

Once we had search and records working, the next step was to explore whether Agentforce could take on some of the repetitive communication and task management work that fills a broker’s day.

From drafting emails to setting reminders, we wanted to see how far we could push automation without losing the personal touch that relationships depend on.

01. Email Drafting

Our first tests looked at whether Agentforce could draft client emails that felt authentic. We tried prompts like:

“Send a follow-up email after today’s Elm Street property tour. Include rent, availability, and square footage.”

The prototype immediately pulled up the right property details. As we kept working on it, Agentforce learned to match different brokers’ styles. This showed us the prototype could really save time and still sound exactly like the broker sending it.

02. Effortless Follow-Ups

Next, we asked whether Agentforce could keep brokers on top of follow-ups. Instead of adding reminders manually, we tested simple instructions like:

“Remind me to call Sarah Wilson next Tuesday.”

Missed follow-ups cost brokers deals. We integrate Agentforce onto your platform to eliminate that risk.

If you’re not ready to invest in Agentforce or migrate to Salesforce, Ascendix Technologies consultants can help you find a suitable solution.

03.Smart Task Scheduling

Finally, we experimented with whether Agentforce could translate unstructured requests into actionable tasks. In one trial, we forwarded an email that said:

“Can we reschedule the tour to Friday at 2 pm?”

The prototype created a new calendar event and flagged it as a priority task. Another test was:

“Set a deadline to send lease proposals to Acme Corp by Friday.”

Agentforce added it to the task list with a reminder. These experiments showed how brokers could move from scattered notes to a clean, prioritized task list with almost no manual entry.

Innovation Beyond Agentforce

While Agentforce has opened exciting new possibilities, it’s not the only way we’re helping CRE teams automate their workflows. At Ascendix, we’ve already delivered working solutions that clients use today showing that if a process can be automated, we’ll find a way to do it, whether inside Salesforce or beyond.

01. Ascendix DA (Document Abstraction)

Commercial real estate runs on documents: brochures, leases, proposals, financial reports, handwritten notes, even scanned images. Too often, that information stays locked in PDFs or paper until someone manually enters it into the CRM.

Our Ascendix DA platform changes that. It turns unstructured documents into CRM-ready data that flows into Salesforce or any other system you use. It recognizes entities, timelines, and financials, processes tables and images, and applies advanced OCR to handwritten notes. Brokers can validate, edit, or reroute extracted data through customizable workflows so nothing is lost in translation.

In practice, this means a static lease abstract becomes structured deal data in seconds.

AscendixDA is your way to get your data buried in paperwork into the digital system.

02. Email Abstraction

Emails turned out to be one of the biggest time sinks we looked at. A new lead, a lease term, a property inquiry often stay buried in inboxes until someone finds the time to key them into the CRM. We wanted to see if we could cut out that step.

So, we built an agent that reads incoming emails, picks out the critical details, and drops them straight into the right record. If a lead sends over a property inquiry with their preferences, the system extracts that information automatically and links it where it belongs.

The agent also looks for what comes next. It can pick up on follow-up tasks mentioned in the email like scheduling a call or sending documents and suggest them for the broker to approve. Combined with the ability to summarize threads, this gives brokers a clear, structured view of interactions and what action should happen next, without digging through chains of messages.
