I stumbled across an awesome tool called Unroll Me that is going to help me check this “to do” off my list. I have an email box that has just become nothing but a spam dumping ground. You know, the one you give when you have to give an email address? The problem is that some people who don’t update their email addresses (naming no names…but my husband) so I occasionally miss something important. NOT ANYMORE!
The Ascendix Blog
One of the hardest parts of changing software of any kind is the learning curve and the training your staff must commit to in order to succeed. Although user-friendly software helps, you must also have proper support to increase user adoption and ensure success. At Ascendix, our Client Adoption staff is supporting both traditional and new training methods to create a community of users that will also help shape the future of the solution. We don’t just want to tell you how it works; we want to hear how you think it could work!
How important is having and utilizing an automated process flow for a commercial real estate professional? Here at Ascendix we have created and implemented Action Plans within our AscendixRE offering. First, we should start with explaining what an Action Plan is. An Action Plan is similar to a Microsoft Project tool that allows you to collect and schedule processes to be performed by one or more employee in order to complete an objective.
At the beginning of the year, Ascendix announced the release of their new iPad application. What makes this app different from the previous mobile accessible solutions is that this was created with the end-user in mind…CRE Brokers. We partnered with an industry leader in user-friendly applications to create a solution that is optimized for a touch-based interaction for a more intimate experience.
Wes Snow gives his take on the new Microsoft Surface tablet along with a comparison to the iPad. Want to see Part I? Click here or read Part II below. My first introduction to an Apple product was the iPhone 3. It didn’t take much to convince me to switch from my Blackberry to this new device with the touch screen and the evolving apps that were available.
I sell technology solutions; specifically I sell technology solutions that are powered primarily by Microsoft technologies to the commercial real estate industry. The genre of product I sell is in the CRM or customer relationship management space, one of the main drivers of which is making mobile workers (i.e. brokers) more effective. So when the iPad first came out and I saw a few of my clients with them at meetings, I immediately became intrigued by the possibilities of this new computing option.
I try to read as many commercial real estate blogs, forums and reviews as I can each week. It is rare to go one week without seeing information (satisfactory and let’s be honest, mostly dissatisfactory) about mobile technology for CRE. At Ascendix we are trying to do more than just check off the “we have mobile access” box and instead offer a true mobile CRM solution. Here are some of the points we took into account:
In the last blog, we let you know about Ascendix’s ‘Smooth Operators’ who are out to raise $10,000 total for St. Baldrick’s. St. Baldrick’s participants raise money to shave their heads and the proceeds go to benefit research for childhood cancers. Ascendix has been a long time supporter of this event and their mission.
Ascendix is proud to announce the release of the new AscendixRE Mobile App for the commercial real estate industry. This new mobile solution will benefit your team as it is geared towards brokers and research teams that need access to key info. It is also user-friendly so they can add data while on the go which increases business intelligence. Our existing subscribers will receive this in Q1 of 2013 and the price of the product will not change.
