We recently had a call with a prospect that made me think of the saying “too many cooks spoil the broth.” In an effort to save either time or money brokerages will go with the easiest solutions that don’t require professional services. Or they will try to use a hodgepodge of tools or applications promoted by experts who haven’t seen all the options. And while the newness and excitement of these options make it seem like it will work, the shine wears off quickly when you find out that you are again creating islands of information and then have to spend money on professional services to solve for fragmented data.
