#1 Search for Records by Related Activities
Now you can find records that have matching tasks, phone calls, or events. There are plenty of use cases when it can be useful for you.
For example:
Case #1 Find all leads I called in the last 7 days / last year /last 2 weeks or any other related dates.
To accomplish this, add Tasks section and then add Due Date Only. Add more criteria if you wish. Learn how Ascendix Search improves Salesforce related date filters. Add additional criteria to see those who never got back to you, use our mass actions to schedule new tasks, events or add notes in bulk. Export this list to Excel to send a quick report via email. If you are a manager, you can assign/re-assign contacts, leads based on their activities history. No more missed leads!

Case #2 See all contacts with tasks to be completed in the future.
By default, you can’t see tasks overdue for more than 30 days in Salesforce. It is made this way to help you keep focused on the current tasks and to speed up the load time of the My Tasks view.
However, there are cases when you want to access this data. E.g., you want to analyze how many tasks have been already planned for the coming months and how much spare time will be available. Or something has changed in your team structure and some of the tasks should be re-allocated to another team member.
Ascendix Search lets you create lists of any records with related tasks and use our advanced filters to get lists you need!
Case #3 Brokers, find all contacts who have had a property tour appointment in the last 30 days.
To accomplish this, you should have an event Category ‘Tour’. Set the correct category each time you create a new event and you’ll be able to get lists of contacts you took in a property tour.
