It’s worth mentioning that both solutions offer great CRM functionality because they both are Salesforce-based solutions.

However, PropertyBase, in most cases, caters to the needs of real estate brokers, whereas AscendixRE CRM can be adopted both by real estate and CRE brokerages. For the latter, it offers custom features like commission calculation and the ability to find/locate property comps on the map using Ascendix Search.

Why does it matter?

When you use a solution designed and supported by one company, it is a 100% guarantee that the product is being constantly updated, and you can rely on it.

Being supported by Lone Wolf Technologies, PropertyBase faces challenges with regular software updates. The latest release stated on AppExchange was 03/02/2022, whereas the latest AscendixRE CRM release is dated 11/17/2023.

This tendency can even be noticed on the company website: PropertyBase’s main landing page, once having strong SEO characteristics, rankings, and constant content updates, now seems a little bit outdated and lacking company’s insights / updates on the present and future of the tool. It also has a decrease in monthly website traffic, possibly pointing at the drop in the flow of new users.

A similar situation happened to Apto and Rethink not so long ago. Once great examples of Salesforce-based solutions targeted at CRE and having large customer base, both got fully acquired by Buildout.
