Ascendix attended Dreamforce, the annual Salesforce® conference, for the third consecutive year in San Francisco.
Imagine what it’s like when 200,000 people assemble to be a part of an undeniable energy, one that espouses innovation, networking and goodwill. The Silicon Valley backdrop, hilly streets and crisp weather all make it an ideal place for brilliant minds to unite.
It wouldn’t have been a proper Dreamforce if the spirit of giving and charity and community wasn’t emphasized. U2 held a concert where proceeds went to (RED), an organization that aims to end AIDS by this generation. All in all it was an exhilarating 4 days that allowed companies from all corners of the earth to congregate under the San Francisco sunny skies.
This week, I will share what we learned at Dreamforce through multiple blog posts. Today’s will be all about Data Integration. Follow us on Twitter to keep a lookout for our next posts on Artificial Intelligence and the Salesforce® AppExchange!
It’s no surprise that data entry is the crux of every CRM. Users want to consume the data without the arduous task of creating and updating records. It’s perceived as time consuming and tedious. Add to that, the general location of data tends to be widespread among different sources and marrying the data single file into CRM is also a tall order.
Enter data integration. Several companies have gathered data about medium to large size organizations and have provided a way for that information to feed into CRM enabling users to create or enrich account and contact records. You could gain access to key decision makers and obtain account insights with virtually no effort.
Ascendix has partnered with InsideView® to provide DataAmp, a data service that lets you only pay for what data you decide to consume. That kind of a la carte pricing is refreshing from a monthly subscription in that it is more cost-effective and “right-sized” for smaller to medium sized companies. Generally speaking, at Dreamforce, data integration was a topic highly sought after, regardless of industry.
Tune in on Wednesday and we’ll share what we learned at Dreamforce about Artificial Intelligence!
