Today’s post is for those who haven’t started using Salesforce® but are interested to learn about one of its major benefits: the Salesforce® AppExchange.
AppExchange
Imagine if your smartphone lacked any of the apps you had. You would essentially have access to the core phone capabilities, such as email, calendar, texting and phone calls.
Nowadays, that’s hardly sufficient because the apps have enriched our lives in ways we seldom think twice about.
Similarly, the Salesforce® AppExchange provides the same concept to business. While CRM still provides the basic foundation of company and contact information, apps help elevate the game.
There are apps for de-duplicating data, synchronization with Gmail and Outlook, mapping customers and prospects for sales calls, marketing/email campaigns, document generation. The list is endless.

There are over 1,000 apps on the Salesforce AppExchange, ranging from free to pricey and most vendors are generous enough to provide a 30-day free trial to incorporate within your existing Salesforce subscription.
